FAQs

What services do you provide?

We provide a range of services including setting up, pricing, tagging and managing all aspects of an in-person or online estate sale. We also offer buyout and clean out options.

How do I prepare for my first visit? Should I get rid of anything? Clean or organize?

Please do not get rid of anything other than personal papers, and photos. Please leave everything in tact so that we may evaluate properly what it is you have. You do not need to clean and organize, or stage items. We will take care of all aspects of displaying, tagging and staging. Make sure family members have taken what they want, or you have had a conversation with family members as far as what they are keeping. It is best that it can be removed from the house, but if that is not possible it needs to be clearly marked if it is a family item.

How long does an estate sale last?

The average estate sale is a 3 day event (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) Prior to the sale we need on average 2 weeks to prepare the house, price all the items, market the sale etc.

What can I expect at the initial consultation?

The initial consultation will be held at your home. This allows us to gather information about what you have, so that we can give you suggestions as far as what is going to be the best benefit to you. We will discuss timeline, and determine whether an estate sale, buyout, or clean out is the best option.

What kind of timeline can I expect?

Every situation is different but a typical estate sale takes on average a month to complete. 2 weeks to set up, and 2 weeks to clean out. Buyouts, clean outs or other services can be done in as quickly as two weeks.

I am thinking of doing the sale myself, why should I hire someone?
